Having moved to Wellington from overseas last year, I needed to embark on the fraught path of finding a new hairdresser. Desperate for a colour and cut, I asked around for recommendations, and a work colleague recommended Jean Jacques. Conveniently located in the city, and with generous opening hours, I decided to try it out. From my first cut and colour some 18 months ago, I’ve not needed to look anywhere else, and I remain grateful to my colleague for her sound recommendation! Melissa, one of the Jean Jacques team, has graciously accepted my every request, colour and cuts every which way. She has always made me feel good stepping out of the salon and into my day. Jean Jacques, Melissa and the rest of the team have always been extremely professional, efficient and friendly. A woman’s hair is her crowning glory, isn’t that the saying?! I used to frequently come to Jean Jacques only to purchase my favourite hair spray, the super friendly staff always had a ready smile and time for a chat even though I was only purchasing product and not frequenting visiting the salon for my hair care. One day my situation changed and since then, some 2 years now, I have been a frequent client of the Jean Jacques Salon…and an extremely happy customer. Jean Jacques’s amazing cutting skills, his wonderful technique and incredibly “Smooth” aura with amazing detail paid to each and every client, make putting yourself in his hands a dream.
